Hi Johnsell50. I'm just an ordinary member( not part of the management team) I notice you have just joined and may I take this this opportunity to welcome you. I hope you enjoy yourself here.

Nope. I've already enjoyed winding up SW on the US Presidential race and he's done a good job at winding me up over it as well. We enjoy the light hearted banter.

Might be a good idea however to keep off the subject of Thai Politics though

Welcome to the forum, John.

By all means, talk politics all you want EXCEPT Thai politics!

By the way, this forum is peanut butter friendly. :Smiley103:

Thanks for the responses. Where on this forum are you talking about the US elections?

That's a good question. To date I believe it has been discussed on non associated Topics where Scott or I (mostly) have gone off topic when a comment allowed us to banter. Your seem to be suggesting it would be of value to have a World Politics (not Thai), Economics and Currency type of Topic.

I suppose the current best existing Topic would be in the News and Views Section World News thread.
Only other would be the very General Open discussion under the Miscellaneous Section.

Not sure what Admin or SW think is best.

By the way I'm a Brit whose following the US Politics very closely I get most (but not all) of my US news via Fox News and I admit I lean towards conservative (Republican I suppose) principles.
I am sure SW, and some other's will say watching Fox News is NOT following US politic closely. My answer would be so MSNBC and other channels in the tank for the Dems are! Eh? :Smiley58:
I of course know Fox News leans big time towards the Repubs, BUT I hate it when other channels just choose not to report on matters at all, they consider not in the Dems or Pres. Obama or HRCs interests.
For me bias is one thing, and to be expected, but complete omission (or almost total) by journalists and News outlets purely due to political allegiances is unacceptable and IMO unforgivable.

There you are j50 I got the ball rolling again for you :Smiley45: Now I must duck quickly from all the expected incoming
