New Bus Route

Postby SkyyWalker » Mon Feb 15, 2016 12:43 pm

I heard that there is a new bus route in KK city. The bus apparently holds around 20 people and costs 10 baht. It starts at the new bus station on the ring road and goes various places around town including Mithrapap freeway (Bic C, Central Mall, etc.) and also goes by the roundabout on sticky rice rd. just up from Hugz Mall. Can anyone verify and provide more specific info?

This could be good news, and finally see the closing of the "Old" Bus station. It gets harder to park there (old) by the week. :Smiley38:

For me, personally, it is an excellent addition to KKC.
When it was first operational, I saw the busses were normally empty, now word has spread around,
they seem to be a lot busier.
Apart from the newest Tesco, it offers an aircon service to the main shopping places here, Central, Big C,
Tesco (South), Makro, Fairy, and is much more comfortable than the good old Songtaews !

Actually, forum, Realist was the person who first told me about the bus, so thanks for that.

Do you know what are the hours of operation?

They actually run 24 hours a day.
I see/hear them all through the day/night, although they seem to be less frequent after about 10.00pm.
Instead of going anti clockwise round the lake to Lao Nadee, I would have thought going the other way (past Piman)
would have made more sense, and also made it easier for me to get to my favourite watering hole !
